Fonts are something you dont always think about, but really are a critical element of web design. There are countless fonts from Times New Roman to Wingdings. And the font that you choose to represent your site can make the difference between a professional look and a teenagers myspace page.

There are a wide variety of fonts but they all get sorted into one of two categories. Serif and Sans Serif. Sans(Meaning without) Serif are fonts that do not have the small features coming off of every letter. A good example of this would be the Univers font. Serif fonts include those small features and a good example of that would be Times New Roman.
