The Univers font dates back to 1954 when Adrian Frutiger reinvented the font based on the font created in the late 1800s Akzidenz-Grotesk. This font is a sans serif and currently has 44 different typefaces and includes variations with weight and width of the characters.
This font is a great font for a professional look due to its sans serif appearance. Many companies, such as the car manufacturer Audi, have designed variations and spin offs of the Univers font to utilize as their own brand names font. ESPN has used this font in many of their live broadcasts from 2000-2009. The Univers font is a great tool to help boost your image and professionalism. It’s more of a subconscious thing then anything when it comes to fonts.
